This is a 38 sqm eighth-floor one-bedroom in Aspire Sukhumvit 48. A run of windows sits above the breakfast bar in the kitchen with the Bangkok skyline behind them — which turns out to be where most guests end up eating, working and watching the city go dark. A full-height glass sliding door between the kitchen and the living area lets that light straight through, and a mirrored wall in the living room carries it further, so the space reads considerably larger than its footprint. The bedroom has its own sliding door onto the balcony. Nothing is built directly opposite, so the outlook stays open all day; you’re well clear of the street noise, but still close enough to the ground that the lift is never a wait.

The bedroom has its own full-height sliding door onto the balcony, so it gets real daylight all day rather than borrowing it from the living room. Full curtains across it for when you’d rather sleep in. Everything routine is within walking distance: Big C Extra On Nut for a full shop, Onnuch FreshMart for daily bits, Habito Mall at T77 and W Market for eating out, and the Soi 48 street-food strip on your doorstep. The Chalong Rat Expressway entrance is close by, which makes the airport run straightforward.
